The Assembly of Nationalities of Ukraine (ANU) together with the World Assembly of Diasporas (WAD) distributed humanitarian aid in the Uman Central City Hospital, the Uman Central District Hospital and the Oncology Center of Cherkasy Region.
As Report reported at the Assembly, the Chairman of the ANU, Co-Chairman of the WAD, Chairman of the United Congress of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine, Vice-President of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Europe Rovshan Tagiyev also took part in the aid, which consisted of orthopedic mattresses, medicines, hydraulic regulation systems and other aid belonging to the Israeli medical service Magen David Adom.
The event held in connection with the provision of aid was attended by the Head of the Uman District Administration Yevhen Danchenko, Deputy Head of the State Administration of Cherkasy Region Yaroslav Berezan, Head of the Uman District Council Oksana Suprunets, Executive Director of the WAD Nahman Shtainberg, deputies and public figures.
At the event related to the provision of humanitarian aid for 300,000 US dollars, it was noted that this aid is currently one of the most necessary projects for Ukraine: "We are grateful to our partners from the USA. Ukraine has actually been occupied and is in conflict conditions. With the support of our partners from the USA, we have already Equipment and other humanitarian aid for the wounded who suffered during the conflict.
The event noted the merit of the head of the ANU Rovshan Tagiyev in conducting recent humanitarian actions in Ukraine, and on behalf of the Ukrainians, gratitude was expressed to him.
Recently, with the support of our United Congress of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine, the Ophthalmological Center named after the outstanding scientist-ophthalmologist of Azerbaijan, Academician Zarifa Khanum Aliyev, was opened in Lviv and our work. Ukraine, the implementation of economic agreements, etc. occupy a major place in our activities as a diaspora.
